Poznań Game Arena 2026 – two decades of passion, games and new technologies – thank you!!
The 20th anniversary edition of Poznań Game Arena is now behind us. From 23 to 25 October, the Poznań International Fair once again became a meeting place for gamers, game developers, hardware manufacturers, influencers and enthusiasts of modern technology. This year’s event brought together the worlds of electronic entertainment, esports, pop culture and music, highlighting just how much the gaming industry has changed over the past two decades.

Three days packed with gaming excitement
One of the highlights of PGA 2026 was the game demonstrations and the chance to try out new releases for yourself. Visitors were treated to stands set up by Polish and international publishers, previews of upcoming titles and demonstrations of the latest gaming hardware.
Titles spanning a wide range of genres – from action games and RPGs to sports games and simulators – attracted particular interest. There was also plenty on offer for fans of cult series, who were able to immerse themselves once again in familiar worlds and see the direction in which modern games are evolving.
PGA has once again proved that the fair is more than just a product showcase. Above all, it is an opportunity for direct contact with the industry, to exchange experiences and discover new gaming passions.
Esports, tournaments and meet-and-greets with content creators
A key part of the event was the esports competitions, tournaments and meet-and-greets with popular online content creators. Participants were able to watch the players compete, cheer on their favourites and meet the people who help shape the Polish gaming community on a daily basis.
The programme included, amongst other things, competitions featuring the games ‘Fortnite’, ‘EA Sports FC 27’ and ‘Warhammer 40,000’. Another highlight of this anniversary edition was the official Polish ‘Quake III’ Championship, serving as a reminder of the rich history of electronic competition.
Visitors were also treated to technology demonstrations, racing simulators and zones dedicated to both the latest hardware innovations and classic computers and consoles. In this way, the PGA created a space where different generations of gamers could come together.

Cosplay, pop culture and gaming communities
Poznań Game Arena is also a place where games intersect with other areas of culture. One of the highlights of the anniversary edition was the PGA Cosplay Show, showcasing the creativity and skills of participants who crafted costumes inspired by characters from games, films and the world of pop culture.
There was also plenty of space for fans of manga, comics, figurines, collecting, board games and crafts. Themed zones allowed visitors to explore various hobbies and meet people with similar interests.
This year’s programme demonstrated that modern gaming is part of a much broader cultural phenomenon. It is a community that revolves not only around the games themselves, but also around creativity, shared experiences and community building.
Music rounded off the anniversary celebrations
The unique character of the 20th edition was also highlighted by the music programme. Weekndr Fest, held alongside the fair, combined the gaming atmosphere with concerts and live performances.
As a result, the PGA became a venue not only for gaming fans, but also for those interested in music and the contemporary culture of the younger generation. The combination of the fair’s attractions with musical events further enriched the programme of this anniversary edition.
Twenty editions and a shared future for gaming
The anniversary edition of Poznań Game Arena provided an opportunity to reflect on the development of the event and the video games industry as a whole. Over the past two decades, gaming has undergone a massive transformation – from a hobby primarily enjoyed by computer and console enthusiasts to a global sector combining entertainment, technology, esports and culture.
For years, PGA has remained a place where industry representatives and gamers come together, and where launches, presentations and tournaments allow us to observe the most important trends in the development of digital entertainment.
We would like to thank all visitors, exhibitors, partners, creators and participants for helping to shape this anniversary edition of Poznań Game Arena. It is the community’s commitment that ensures the event remains one of the highlights of the Polish gaming calendar.
See you at the next edition of PGA!
