PGA GENESIS Cosplay Show 2026 – creativity, passion and thrills on stage at the Poznań Game Arena!
On 25 October 2026, the AMD Main Stage at the Poznań Game Arena once again belonged to the cosplayers! The PGA GENESIS Cosplay Show was one of the most spectacular highlights of the final day of the 20th anniversary edition of the fair. The event brought together enthusiasts of cosplay, gaming and pop culture in the broadest sense, giving participants the opportunity to showcase their costumes and stage interpretations of their favourite characters.
The competition provided an opportunity to showcase not only tailoring, pattern-making and make-up skills, but also creativity, attention to detail and stage presence. The format, which included both catwalk presentations and short skits, allowed participants to showcase their projects in a variety of ways. There was no shortage of excitement, meticulously crafted outfits and characters well known to fans of games and animation.
The final took place on Sunday at 12:00, with Aleksandra “Shappi” Tora overseeing the proceedings.

It is also worth noting the diversity of this year’s entries. The winners included characters from both popular video games and the world of animation. There was no shortage of inspiration drawn from Polish fantasy literature and the latest titles either.

Cosplay is, above all, a passion and a huge amount of work
This year’s entries and the projects that received special mention serve as a reminder of just how much creativity, dedication and hours of work go into every cosplay. A good example is Talnenaria, who shared a behind-the-scenes look at the preparation of her Anka costume on social media ahead of the event. As she herself described, the costume was handmade, and the embroidery took her a particularly long time. The look was also meant to be complemented by distinctive prosthetic scars featuring runes.
Stories like these show that cosplay is much more than simply dressing up as your favourite character. It is a combination of craftsmanship, artistic vision, knowledge of the source material, and the ability to tell a story through costume and stage presentation.
Thank you for sharing these exciting moments with us!
The PGA GENESIS Cosplay Show 2026 has once again demonstrated just how vital the cosplay community is to gaming events. Different worlds, aesthetics and inspirations came together on stage, and each participant played their part in creating a truly unique spectacle.
Congratulations to all the winners, honourable mentions and contestants! A huge round of applause also goes to those who supported the cosplayers during their preparations, helped behind the scenes and cheered them on from the audience.
Thank you for your energy, creativity and the fantastic atmosphere. See you at future cosplay events!
