The Biggest Gamedev event in Central and Eastern Europe

Game Industry Conference 2017.

Game Industry Conference already was the biggest gamedev event in Poland since 2012, when it
passed 2000 participants. Currently, together with collocated Poznan Game Arena - a huge game
expo, it surpasses other events around with nearly every statistic, growing to be the biggest one in
Eastern Europe.

The GIC features in three days: over a hundred of talks and workshops in seven parallel tracks, B2B
exhibition zone, Pitch&Match meeting zone and obviously three networking parties one each
evening. The newest additions to that since 2016 are super successful CareerZone, an event
connecting developers with investors and publishers, the Best Game Video awards gala and
Japan+Eastern Europe Networking Event prepared in cooperation with Tokyo Game Show.
The events in are Poznan traditionally the spot to meet most of the Polish gamedev community:
both indie developers and representatives of largest game development studios. With every
edition it attracts more and more game developers from neighboring countries, not only from
Eastern Europe, but also from Germany, Nordic countries and rest of the world. While organized
with indie spirit, GIC is also an excellent place for business.
